This was the second of Davids shows in London, i'd pretty much finished a two HD cam edit of this show when another source was seeded. Whilst this 3rd source was incomplete i used it to fill a few gaps in the 2 camera edit. Only approx 20 minutes of footage from the 3rd camera was used.

Video and audio (used from camera 1 ) are excellent quality and video is only slightly let down by the very low lighting that the venue has during performances. The strobes and lights during echoes were a test for the HD cameras and that track has been rendered at 8500kbps, there may still be slight signs of pixelation though. Disc 1 is chapter indexed, has main menu plus track selection menu, Disc 2 is chapter indexed but no menus.

Roger Waters live in Madrid 2011 - 2DVD - March 26

ROGER WATERS - "The Wall Live"
2011.03.26 - Madrid, Spain
"Palacio de los Deportes"
Kisspep's wife version

Comments:
----------
Filmed in HD by my wife from balcony left, with a JVC GZ-HM300. Incredible show with perfect sound and performance. Much better than I ever though seen some DVD's.
I'll love to authore a multicam DVD from this show, I just upload here my other source, but is another left angle so they are very similar ones.
Usually no zooom used, then you can see more or less the full stage on about 80% of the DVD.

This source is missed first and last song. I completed it with my other versions.

2 audios availables:

- Matrix Stereo: Lumix ZS3/JVC HM300

Comments:
The setlist is unremarkable save for the rarely played (in '72) "A Saucerful of Secrets." It's an overall good performance including a great "Travel Sequence" and "Any Colour You Like," and the bonus of a edit-shortened "The Mortality Sequence." (Other edits to beware of are a fade out- fade in near the beginning of OOtD, and an Echoes cut short.)

Syd Barret's last recording session - 1CD - August 12, 1974

Syd Barrett's Last Recording Session - Abbey Road Studios 1974-08-12 -Now you can finally hear it!

Well, well, well! After lusting after this gem for many years... here it is, finally... 11 instrumental tracks of pure unrealized potential, going nowhere faster and faster...

I wish someone with more talent for visualization than I have, and with more dexterity at arranging than I have, and with the vision that Syd has started - would finish these tracks, especially "If You Go". One of the many biographies I have read about this session (arranged for three days, but only worked on for one) said that all they could produce from Syd is "a few unfocused licks". Well, it's a bit more than that.

Setlist:

Boogie #1
Boogie #2
Boogie #3
If You Go #1
Ballad (unfinished)
Chooka-Chooka-Chug-Chug
If You Go #2
Untitled
Slow Boogie
John Lee Hooker
